Vitrual Reality For Training
VR technology enables students to study the anatomy of the body in a better way. There are lesser cadavers in medical colleges and the students cannot practice independently, VR will able them to study the intricate anatomy of the body in detail.
Training and teaching surgical procedures in 2-dimensional diagrams and pictures is not enough to illustrate the procedures. VR technology can make understanding better as the student can visualize everything in an immersive 3D environment.

Hands on procedures
The technology will enable medical students to acquire knowledge and understanding about the human body by means of interaction within a virtual environment. Medical students can perform ‘hands on’ procedures but in a safe and controlled setting.
VR is also used to train paramedics and other similar personnel who need to learn lifesaving skills but without placing themselves and their patients at risk. They are able to do this by interaction with a simulated accident or emergency in a virtual environment but with minimal risk. These scenarios are realistic and enable them experience a high pressure situation and respond accordingly.
